Curiosity, taken seriously.
Tabby Press is a small independent publisher. We make websites about things that catch our interest — places, products, materials, niche questions — and we take each one a little further than strictly sensible.
The work
Comparison sites
For categories where choosing is genuinely hard — quote-gated pricing, look-alike products, claims that don’t quite line up. We lay the whole field out side by side, so deciding takes an afternoon instead of a month.
Guides
Buyer’s guides to the questions people search before they spend, and travel guides to places we keep going back to ourselves — written to be read once and acted on, in the languages their readers actually use.
References
Small sites about narrow subjects nobody else covers properly. Most days, nobody needs them. The day you do, nothing else will quite do.
Why it exists
Interesting things deserve better pages.
The web is oddly thin on the subjects people actually get absorbed by. The big publishers skim them, the forums bury them, and half of what ranks is rewritten from whatever ranked before it. Meanwhile somebody, somewhere, wants the real answer — and wants it rather badly.
So when a subject catches us, we build the page we wished existed. And because enthusiasm is not the same as accuracy, everything we publish stays checkable — facts carry their source and the date we looked. The standards page has the fine print.
Working with us
For vendors and operators
We work with a small number of the companies and operators we cover — on qualified enquiries, placement and sponsorship. Commercial arrangements never affect rankings or recommendations, and we say so on every page that carries one. If a category or a place we cover is yours, we are easy to reach.
